UNITY IN DIVERSITY Mural – Vanden High School, Fairfield, CA This beautiful and powerful work of art was created by 95 advanced art students enrolled at Vanden High School in Fairfield, CA. The project was directed by Mr. David Draime, one of the art instructors at Vanden. It was painted at the end of the spring semester 2018, and took more than six weeks to complete. In all, more than 3,000 student hours went into creating this mural. Put another way, if one person were tasked to paint this mural, and worked 40 hours a week (with no vacation), it would take her/him more than a year and a half to complete it. The message expressed in this mural is a testament to Vanden High School’s appreciation for the wonderful diversity of our entire student body and staff.
